All of my wood is air dried in SOUTHERN OREGON." -John Tepper
Tepper Tonewoods started in 1968 by Ed Tepper. He was helping a friend find some figured maple to use on a violin he was making. A few high quality trees were found and processed. The maple wood was used by the violin maker and also distributed to other makers. The wood met with great satisfaction. John Tepper helped his father and took the business over in 1979. He has grown the bussiness into what it is today, Oregon's finest tonewoods.
